The End of The Hippie Era
I'm off to Europe for a 10-day trip with my mother and some of her friends. Yes, I will be the only under-30 baby in the group.
As I begin to pack today, my wardrobe (or lack of it) is disappointing me. The last two years were made of my hippie and ethnic phase. I have nothing but flowy pants, flowy tops, and Indian clothes, none of which I want to take with me. I want some funky clothes, cool pants, and sexy, strappy dresses. I want to walk around the cities with my headphones (pretending I am in a larger than life film), my sunglasses, and funky pixie shoes. It's just the state that I am in.
So I guess I'll just have to go shopping while I'm out. Yum.
