One warm, foggy evening in Coonoor (some 10 years ago), I paid a visit to a buddy... my closest buddy (credited for introducing me to the best music my dad left out). As I entered, this is the track I heard. The drum count and Lindsey Buckingham's intro... for a year atleast, I thought this was the best track on RUMOURS. The guitar solo at the end was smoking hot... and Christie McVie had a unique voice.
Rumours was made when the band was going through some serious turmoil... Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks were breaking up - and their hatred for each other manifested in some spontaneous gems like 'Go Your Own Way' and 'Dreams'.

Just reading those lyrics in your blog made me pick up the CD from the rack and blast it into the fucking Diwali night.
ha, sounds like a good diwali. i wondered about the contrasting songs on the album and it makes sense now. My latest favorite on this album has been "Never Going Back Again"....i can't get it out of my head. Dreams also has a fantastic intro...love it.
